Just a note to say this has worked - it took me a bit to figure out how to autoincrement the id but I have now done this and it works beautifially.
Thanks for your prompt help - much appreciated! Error 3022

The use of datetime for the primary key might be the problem. It expects to see an integer or long integer (counter).

Thanks for you prompt reply.
In reply: 1. As far as I know, it is Acess 97 - I have used Jet 3.51 engine - if it wasn't, wouldn't a problem come up on opening mdb with neunet? (presumably error message saying wrong mdb?) 2. I have opened .NNp file in Access 2000 with no problems (but with usual message 'you can't make changes', etc). No names or tables are in conflict. Tables present are: Classes Config FieldConfig LinkDataSource - full data (61235 records) Snapshots - 1 record [DateSaved =(date)][Error At Save=()][Snapshot=(2 8583)] Test - [MainPrimaryKey =36165][Predicted=Neutral][Mark=0] LinkDatasource appears to link OK. Would use of datetime as primary key be a problem? 3. I cannot export data directly from my own db as database is in a non-standard format - I would have to write a program to do so, from the various tables - how large a text file will neunet accept?. If this is absolutely necessary, I will do so. But, is it necessary, given that Neunet has already accepted my mdb file? Error 3022

Your .mdb file must be Access 97, not 2000. Try opening the .NNP project file with Access (Its really a .mdb file). Check if there are any table names or field names in the .NNP file that conflict with your names. Try using the NeuNet IMPORT function to generate your .mdb, them compare that one to the one you generated.

I have developed a program to process data and pass this on to Neunet, using the Microsoft Jet engine to create an mdb file which I then load into neunet (with primary key being datetime - not used for prediction).
Everything works OK until I test the resulting prediction. No matter what data I chose to train on,testing always fails with: Error 3022. The changes you requested to the table were not successful because they would create duplicate values in the index, primary key or relationship. Change the data in the field or fields that contain duplicate data, remove the index or redefine the index to permit duplicate entries and try again. I do not think it is anything to do with my created mdb but with the neunet mdb - but I am not sure. Because of the size of data, and the requirement to repeat using different input, I think text files for input would be inappropriate (if this is relevant). Any ideas? (No Subject)
