The Prediction

I'm sorry but I still don't see where the prediction is. If I use a series of input data, for example, open, high, low, close, from the past and today, where do I see the predicted close for tomorrow. All I ever see are predictions for the data that has been input. I do not see a prediction for tomorrow. Do I really need to input an extra row of meaningless data to get a prediction?

This software does make a prediction. The Splitter Bars are used to set which data is used for training and which data is used to later testing. Refer to the AirMiles sample for example of forward predition of a time series. Please refer to "Predicting a Time Series" and "Predicting on New Data" in the FAQ section.

Seems to me that this software does not make a prediction. I can't see where any forward prediction is, only what its prediction would be for the data aleady there. Where is the prediction?

Hi
I am new to this and I think I have a problem to understand what is to be predicted. I loaded a file with data horse racing data. As a Predicted field I selected one of the columns, after all the tests and all goodies the software does the final result is that the prediction is identical as the data in the column? I think I do something wrong. Can someone help me out, please. Thanks Greg Using Genetic Encoding to Manage Media

Hi,
I am new to this Forum so please forgive me if this is misplaced. I have to design a seriously large content management system (all forms of media). I am looking for a new way to do this as opposed to the conventional method - SQL database, Asset Management Forms, Storage etc. etc. I would like to design a neural network system with what I can only describe as 'genetic' encoded media. So, a media component would have its history, owner, where it resides, where it is to go etc. embedded within the 1s and 0s that make it up. Is this crazy, is it possible? Can anyone help? Thanks. Hi Mike. There are many people including myself using NeuNet Pro in Windows XP.
You can use Access/Excel to create a comma seperated file then IMPORT into NeuNet. You don't need any version of Access. Windows XP and ExcelAccess 2002

I see that your download page specifies only Windows 95/98/NT4
Are there any plans to produce an XP version? Also, are there any plans to allow training/testing input directly from Excel or Access 2002? Preparation of the text data for import

I'm not sure how to arrange the data in text format for import. For example, if I have the following data:
Field 1 data 1 data 2 data 3 Field 2 data 1 data 2 data 3 How do I arrange this on a text document (i.e. when you right click on your desktop and click New Text document) in the exact order needed along with the proper delimited characters for a successful import and consequent New Project. | ||
